Rebranding a local favourite

Movie House approached us to have a look at consolidating some of their print marketing materials and this led to the first full rebrand since opening their doors 25 years ago. Already established as Northern Ireland’s local cinema chain with great offers, value for money and ever improving facilities, we wanted to help Movie House create a bold, confident brand that showed everyone just how great they are.

Through a mix of bold typography and colours with a tinge of retro, we have reimagined everything including pre-movie trailers, popcorn packaging, advertising campaigns, signage and lots more.

In the Netflix era it’s never been more important for cinemas to create an experience for customers that gets them off their sofas and on the edge of their cinema seats. We have created a brand that is built around the desire to be a home away from home for people to enjoy the greatest movies on screen. Coupled with a great service and great value, Movie House is Northern Ireland’s home for great cinema.

Our recent rebrand has made us rethink how we present Movie House and how we communicate with our customers and team members. Break enabled us to explore how we could present the massive changes in Movie House cinemas as we move to a more luxurious VIP offering.  They also worked closely with us to create clearer messaging which was a key factor in increasing our sales of promotional offers by 30%.

Dave took the time to really understand the business needs and his imaginative rebranding has created a fresh, vital image that is in keeping with our ambitious plans for the future.
